Do I have to be in shape to get started?

Not at all. You’ll find that our classes for beginners are the perfect way to build up your overall fitness level regardless of your physical condition. Good luck!

Can I come and watch a class?

You are very welcome to come and watch any of our classes. Our recommendation though is to get on the mat and give it a go. There is no charge for your first lesson so what have you got to lose?

Am I too old to start martial arts training?

Age is but a number and one off the many amazing things about Aikido is that you are never too old to practice. We would always recommend that you get doctors consent if in doubt.

What are the health requirements?

Your health and safety is your prime concern and our also. We look after you in the class, but you know yourself best. If in doubt speak to your doctor and please speak to our instructors when you arrive to advise us how we can help.

How much time need to learn to learn Aikido?

Well… a life time, but as the saying goes its in the journey, not the destination.

What is the training schedule?

Clubs run throughout the week in different locations in the UK, New Zealand and Bulgaria. Check out your local club for specific training times / days.
